Fablito is a storybook app for kids aged 3-8. Everyone can read our library of hand-picked illustrated stories for free, with read-along narration. With Fablito+, you can also describe a story idea and Fablito uses AI to make an illustrated, narrated story starring your child.

Open the app and pick any story from the Fablito library. Tap play to hear it read aloud while the words light up.

Creating stories needs Fablito+. Add your child's profile (nickname, age, emoji) → Tap "Create Story" → Describe your story idea → Choose an art style and length. The first time, a grown-up passes a parental gate and agrees to the story nickname, age band, story idea and any toy photo being sent to our AI provider, xAI, to make the story. A story usually takes a few minutes to make.

Stories are optimized for children aged 3-8, with three age bands (3-4, 5-6, 7-8) that adjust vocabulary and complexity.

No. There's no sign-up. Your stories are saved on your device and in your iCloud account, and subscriptions go through your Apple ID.

Library stories are chosen and checked by our team before they're published. Personalized stories go through safety checks designed to keep them age-appropriate, but AI can occasionally produce something unexpected, so we recommend a grown-up reads new stories first.

Currently, stories are generated in English only. More languages are planned for future updates.

Personalized stories come in three lengths: 5, 10 or 15 scenes. Fablito+ includes 75 scenes each month.

Yes. You can include up to 4 children as characters in one story.

Fablito+ includes 8 styles: Watercolour, Cartoon, Classic, Realistic, Anime, Pixel Art, Oil Painting and Stained Glass.

Take a photo of your child's favorite toy and it joins the story, drawn in the art style you chose. Please photograph just the toy, with no people in the shot. This is a Fablito+ feature.

Stuffed animals, action figures, dolls, and toy vehicles work great. Take a clear photo against a plain background for best results.

In the US, $9.99/month or $79.99/year. The app shows your local price, and any free trial you're eligible for, before you subscribe. Fablito+ renews automatically until you cancel.

Go to iPhone Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → Fablito → Cancel. You'll keep Fablito+ until the end of your billing period.

Stories you've already made stay on your device and in iCloud, so you can keep reading them, and the free library stays available. You won't be able to create new stories.

Yes. Add a profile for each child. The 75-scene monthly allowance is shared across your subscription.

A new story usually takes a few minutes, and longer stories take longer. If it seems stuck, check your internet connection, then close and reopen the app.

Make sure iCloud is turned on for Fablito in Settings → your name → iCloud → Apps Using iCloud, and that each device is signed in to the same Apple ID.

Check that your device isn't on silent mode. Also check the volume. If issues persist, try force-closing and reopening the app.

Stories sync via iCloud. After reinstalling, give it a few minutes to sync. Make sure you're signed into the same Apple ID.

Very little. Child profiles and stories are stored on your device and in your iCloud account. When you create a personalized story, the story nickname, age band, story idea and any toy photo are sent to our AI provider, xAI, to make it; our server doesn't save them. To count monthly scenes we store an Apple subscription ID and scene counts, with no names or story content. See our Privacy Policy at fablito.co/privacy.

No. We don't show ads, we don't track children, and we don't build behavioral profiles. Parents provide all information, and there are no social or DM features.

Yes. Deleting a child's profile in the app removes their stories from your device and iCloud. To delete the subscription usage records on our server, email privacy@fablito.co.
