End User License Agreement

Effective date: May 7, 2026

This End User License Agreement (“EULA”) explains the license terms for using the Fablito iOS app. It is intended to work together with our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

1. Parties and scope

This EULA is between you and Slim Software Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 09676113), with its registered office at 24 Dering Street, London, W1S 1BL (“Fablito,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). Apple is not a party to this EULA, but Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries for apps distributed through the Apple App Store.

2. License grant

Subject to this EULA, we grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use Fablito on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, and as otherwise permitted by Apple’s App Store terms. This is a license, not a sale.

3. Parent or guardian use

Fablito is designed for parents and guardians to create and read personalised stories with children aged 3–8. Story creation, purchases, external links, sharing, and profile setup should be handled by an adult. You are responsible for supervising any child who uses the app.

4. Subscriptions and in-app purchases

Fablito may offer auto-renewable subscriptions through Apple StoreKit. Purchases are billed by Apple to your Apple ID. Renewal, cancellation, refunds, family sharing, and payment management are handled through your Apple account and subject to Apple’s payment terms. Fablito does not receive or store your payment card details.

5. User content and generated stories

You retain ownership of story prompts, story nicknames, age bands, and optional toy photos that you provide. You are responsible for making sure you have the right to submit that content.

Stories, illustrations, and narration generated through Fablito are licensed to you for personal, family, and non-commercial use. You may not sell, sublicense, or commercially distribute generated content without our prior written permission.

6. Acceptable use

You must not:

  • Use Fablito for unlawful, harmful, abusive, or exploitative purposes.
  • Try to bypass child-safety filters, parental gates, quotas, or subscription checks.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, modify, or create derivative works from the app except where law expressly permits it.
  • Use Fablito to infringe intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights.
  • Interfere with the app, backend, Apple services, or other users’ devices.

7. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what information Fablito processes, how story generation works, and how children’s data is protected. By using Fablito, you agree that we may process information as described in the Privacy Policy. You can review it at fablito.co/privacy.

8. Maintenance and support

We are responsible for providing support for Fablito. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support services for the app. For help, contact us at support@fablito.co.

9. Warranty disclaimer

Fablito is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. If the app fails to conform to an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple may refund the purchase price, if any, under Apple’s policies. Apple has no other warranty obligation for Fablito.

10. Intellectual property claims

If a third party claims that Fablito or your possession and use of Fablito infringes intellectual property rights, we are responsible for investigating, defending, settling, and discharging that claim to the extent required by this EULA and applicable law. Apple is not responsible for such claims.

11. Product claims

We, not Apple, are responsible for addressing claims relating to Fablito or your use of Fablito, including product liability claims, regulatory claims, consumer protection claims, and claims that the app does not conform to legal or regulatory requirements.

12. Legal compliance and export rules

You represent that you are not located in a country or region that is subject to a relevant embargo or sanctions restriction, and that you are not listed on a prohibited or restricted party list. You must comply with applicable export control, sanctions, and local laws when using Fablito.

13. Third-party services

Fablito uses Apple services such as CloudKit, StoreKit, and SharePlay, and may use service providers for story generation and narration. Your use of those services may be subject to additional third-party terms. We describe our providers and privacy practices in the Privacy Policy.

14. Termination

This EULA remains in effect until terminated. Your rights under this EULA will terminate automatically if you materially breach it. Upon termination, you must stop using Fablito and delete any copies of the app from your devices.

15. Governing law

This EULA is governed by the laws of England and Wales, except to the extent mandatory local law gives you additional rights. Nothing in this EULA limits rights that cannot be limited under applicable consumer protection law.
