WHOOOOSH! The sky cracked open over the harbor. Tuggy the little red tugboat saw enormous black waves rising like a monster. His big round eyes widened. "Not on my watch!" he shouted. The other boats hid, but Tuggy charged forward. A gigantic rogue wave slammed toward the tiny lighthouse where baby seals were trapped.
The wave roared like a dragon. Tuggy gulped but kept his grin. "You don't scare me, you peculiar bully!" he yelled. CRASH! The monster wave smashed down. Tuggy spun wildly but stayed upright. Inside his wheelhouse his heart hammered. He could see the scared baby seals clinging to the rocks.

VROOOOM! Tuggy pushed his engines to the limit. He raced straight into the crashing waves. BOOM! A giant breaker hit him hard, nearly flipping him. But he blasted his horn and kept going. "Hang on, little friends!" he cried. One by one he nudged the baby seals onto his deck.

The Storm Monster grew angrier. It sent a colossal wall of water straight at them. Tuggy's eyes narrowed. "Not today!" He spun around and used the wave's own power. WHOOOOSH! He surfed the monster wave like a champion, carrying the seals safely behind the breakwater.

The storm calmed. The baby seals cheered and hugged Tuggy's warm smokestack. The other boats came out and clapped their horns. Tuggy smiled big and bright. "Being brave isn't about being the biggest," he said. "It's about caring enough to try." The harbor sparkled under the moonlight.
